ohmigo is free and made by volunteers. These are the plain rules for using it.
What ohmigo is
ohmigo is a free service that your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude…) uses to estimate what a charge costs on Portugal's public MOBI.E network and to find the cheapest chargers. It is kept by the O Carro Elétrico community. By using it, you accept these terms.
Prices are estimates
Every result is an estimate built from CEME tariffs, MOBI.E's tables, operators' direct prices and your car's specs. Every answer says what it assumed. The final price is whatever the charger, the operator or your energy retailer charges.
Always check the price at the charger or in the operator's app before you charge. This is not financial advice, nor a guarantee of price, duration or charger availability.
Acceptable use
- Use ohmigo for what it is for: looking up prices and chargers.
- Don't use it to overload the service, attack it, get around limits or reach anything that isn't public.
- Don't use it to bulk-copy our data or that of the services we depend on.
We may limit or block access for anyone who doesn't follow this, to protect the service and other users.
Availability
The service is offered as it is, with no guaranteed uptime. It may fail, be slow, change or stop without notice. Live charger data can be up to 5 minutes old and depends on services we don't control.
Third-party data and trademarks
Data comes from MOBI.E, the National Access Point, ERSE, retailers and operators, and Preços (finais) kWh Portugal. Trademarks and names belong to their owners. ohmigo has no official link to any of them and isn't sponsored by them.
AI assistants
Your assistant writes the question, interprets the result and answers you. We don't control what it says or what it does with your conversation, and its own terms and policy apply. If an answer looks odd, check it on ohmigo or at the charger.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for costs, losses or damages that result from decisions made on the estimates, or for failures or downtime of the service. This doesn't take away any consumer rights the law gives you that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes go to the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any rights the law gives consumers.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version in force is this one, with the date below; the history is on GitHub. Questions: info@ocarroeletrico.com or the support page. What we do with your data is in the privacy policy.
